Nice! You should absolutely feel free to enhance/modify or otherwise mess with any of my drawings on the books. I think part of the fun of collaborative works like these is to push the individual contributions in different directions...oO

I agree with oO. More than making a drawing in another person's notebook, interacting is what makes this project fun. Clashing and blending of different drawing styles is very cool.
I received this book yesterday, so it is all safe.
