Rowlands book

I think I'm quite ready with Rowlands book... I put some sweets for new year, a good luck doll for the new year and some glowing real gold leaves.... :-)
Rowland stuck a great folding open paper to paint (it said "paint me"), so as it was sticking half on the third page I painted half of it, leaving the other parts for the next coming artists... I also glued a little envelope of hand made Kahdi-paper with some new year's wishes in it. Feel free to complete my list !! I left plenty of room on the paper in the envelope !!! :-))
Rowland put a note for you all in his book. I have put it in the inner pocket. Maybe I put something extra in the inner pocket as well...

I love the layers of texture and the way the delicate colors contrast against the metallic shiny ones. Gorgeous!

Rowland's book arrived safe and sound yesterday. Your attention to detail is amazing Barbara.

It's quite a strange feeling realising that 'my' moleskine is trotting around the world, and clearly enjoying itself. Looking forward to when it arrives home and recounts its adventures ... meanwhile I await the arrival of its fellow travellers. :-)

that's what I love about these exchanges - knowing that my scribbles will go to places I may never see.

Grate work, the softness in the colour and the balance of light and shadows is truly grate.
